PNGs being served by Open Maps

    Hi,

    Anyway to update the tiled images away from PNG to webp? As they are served directly offsite, I’m unable to edit the images so they will not get flagged on pagespeed tests.

    Hi @nseeger

    We are currently utilizing Leaflet.js to implement map functionality. Unfortunately, at this time, this library does not have native support for WebP image format. However, should this library offer WebP support in the future, we will certainly incorporate it.

    Thanks – in looking it appears to be OpenStreet Maps providing the images? Leaflet the javascript. Thanks for the quick response.
