PNG Transparency not working with GD + WebP

  • Hi,

    Great plugin, however I have found a bug with using GD for transparent PNG’s. All PNG images that have transparency are replaced with a black or white canvas instead when they are converted using the plugin.

    Php: 5.6.40
    WP: 5.8.1
    Plugin: Latest version

    So the gd extension for php 7.4.9 works however php 5.6 does not. Might wanna change your install requirements or the “GD transparency is fixed blah blah”… in the GD settings window
