PNG to JPG conversion, only the original?

No, it is supposed to convert all or nothing. Presumably that is a brand new image you uploaded for testing?

If so, turn on EWWW’s debug setting, do another upload, then send the debug.log file from the bottom of the settings page to https://ewww.io/contact-us/

On the form, be sure to also include the debug information from the settings page, that shows me what settings you are using.

Just replicated on my dev site, looks like some regression slipped in somewhere.

Found the problem, the GD conversion routine is missing a line. In the file classes/ewww-image.php, put this right before the closing curly brace on line 894:

$jpg_size = ewww_image_optimizer_filesize( $newfile );

Planning to include the fix in the release on Monday.

NOTE: to anyone else that comes across this, the bug has existed since version 3.2.0. For existing images, it should be sufficient to click the restore link via the media library, and then re-optimize (if PNG to JPG is enabled globally), or click the PNG to JPG link. That is, of course, once the fix is in place.

The EWWW_Image class closing bracket is on line 893.

If I put this before this closing bracket it will be directly inside the class and not on a function.

Are you sure about the filename and line number?

Maybe it’s before line 510?

I’ve done it and the problem seems solved.

Yeah, sorry, 510, don’t know where i got 894 from ??
