PNG images not being compressed

    Great plugin!

    I just noticed that the plugin compresses big JPG images but not big PNGs. When the PNG size is bigger than around 700kb and I try to compress it this error message is display: “An error has occured. Check the console for details. “

    What could be causing this issue?

    Hey @terrim!

    Please open your browser console (in Chrome it can be done by pressing Ctrl+Shift+I), then go to the Console tab and take a screenshot of that tab contents and attach it here.

    Also, check if your PNG image can be optimised by Squoosh app. Visit https://squoosh.app/ and upload your image there. If it won’t be optimised – then the optimising scripts cannot process and optimise your image.
