PNG icon slows down the site

this is the error I see on my page via inpection:

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)
with this link to the image:
https://bluedewdesign.com/%E2%80%9Dhttp:/bluedewdesign.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/facebook.png%E2%80%9D

For the social icons menu, did you add html for images to the “Navigation label” field on the menus page?

If you did, please remove the html, and replace it with standard text, like “Facebook”.

The image html for all of the icons is unnecessary because the icons are added via css in your child theme, so the html can safely be removed.

There’s an error in the html that has been added which causes the problem.

I did add the html for the images. I removed this and just added the word Facebook etc., and it worked!
