Png files disappeared after site duplication

That is a bit odd. Maybe try to go and check and resave your permalink (Settings > Permalinks).

I tried to save them but nothing changed

However, we understand the problem: the files are in the correct location, but wordpress looks for them in the top root

the correct path, where the site was then installed, is inside the sestitoedilservice.it folder, and in fact the files are there

It might the settings in step 3 of the installer where not setup correctly. Be sure to double check all settings even those in the options section.

You might check your wp-config.php to see if there is any custom directive (constant) set that might be overriding the default location, also check your functions.php for custom code that may be changing the path…
