png-file: Failed to crop image

  • Hi,
    First of all, a big compliment for the plugin.
    Today I wanted to apply the crop to an image in png format, but the error: “Failed to crop image” appeared.
    I use WP 5.8.1
    Is it not possible to crop png files?

    Hey Peter,

    PNG files should be supported. It would help debugging the issue if you could check two things for me.

    1. Check the server logs if there are any error messages after you attempt cropping.
    2. Check the browser console and network tab if you can see any error messages related to cropping.
