I am using Page Builder by SiteOrigin to construct pages.

[pms-login] works fine and produces the login form. [pms-register] does not output the registration form. I know this isn’t a lot of information, but there are no errors being displayed in the console or elsewhere.

[pms-register] works fine if used in the WordPress editor.

Any ideas on how to troubleshoot?

  • I am also having problems using the code [pms-register]. I am using the editor with WordPress 4.6.

It is displaying the account form and not the registration form.

@nildarosa I think you may have edited your post, but the only output I am getting from [pms-register] is ‘You already have an account’ when a user is logged in. It displays nothing for users who are not logged in.

@tomn8r It was displaying that message when I was logged in. After I logged out, it started displaying the account form but not the register form. It may not be compatible with WordPress 4.6.

@nildarosa Strange behaviour indeed! Unfortunately, I’ve only ever tried it on WP 4.6.

I also tried it on another website with just Page Builder and PMS installed. Same issue!

I was hoping to try and paste the code in directly using a PHP Snippets plugin but I can seem to work out what the [pms-register] shortcode actually inserts. Hopefully we get a response and a fix!

@tomn8r Thank you for writing with your issue.

For users that are not logged in you should see the user registration form alongside options for the user to subscribe to a subscription plan.

I have just tested what you have described with Page Builder by SiteOrigin and on my end it works. What I’ve done is simply to add the [pms-register] shortcode within a text widget of the page builder.

Can you please open a support ticket here, detailing the issue.

    Thank you and best regards,
    Mihai

    Hi Mihai,

Thanks for your response. I am using the shortcode in exactly the way you described. I have also tested it on two separate WordPress installations. It’s positive to hear that you have it working! I have opened a ticket.
