    Hi there

Awesome plugin, so kudos first. I have a few issues to report, please feel free to ask clarifying questions or ask for more information.

    1. I am using one-time payment for my annual membership (refer to link), there are no recurring payments so it expires after a year. However, I use subscription delay add-on to allow my customers to try membership for free during the first 3 days (i.e. 3 day delay in the subscription charge).

However, when you look at the text on the checkout page, it shows up as “Price: $ XX.YY now. after your 3 day trial.” I believe it should be “Price:$0.00 now and then $XX.YY after your 3 day trial.”

    2. Another thing that I’d like to see change is “Expires after: 0” for indefinite recurring payments, I think it should say “Expires after: Never, or until cancelled”. or just show next payment date instead.

Both of those items are not just cosmetic, since confusion at checkout leads to drop in conversion.

    3. I am using first-name, last-name add on, so as you can see, my checkout page shows those fields. However, they are really poorly formatted. I’d appreciate if you guys can format those fields nicely. I’d say the same thing for rest of the checkout fields, e.g. credit card number or CVC, please format to their expected lengths or the largest possible.

I’d also refer to the following awesome checkout pages, hopefully you can simply steal their design and streamline the experience for everyone.

while waiting for response, I want to bring two issues to your attention (BTW, I am using latest PMPro and WP versions). I am using Stripe and PayPal Express as payment gateways, both are working (I moved from Woo to PMPro).

    1. Slack notifications: I have your Slack add-on installed from Github, however it only sends “New Checkout: <email-address>”.. I thought it is supposed to show which membership level or plan a person checked out with? It would be helpful if it shows that along with $ value. You can see WooCommerce Slack notification for example.

    2. With PayPal Express, I have noticed tons of orders in “token” status, nearly every Paypal exppress order is leaving a dangling “token” order which is just filling up the Order screen.

    3. I also notice PayPal as referrer in the Google Analytics for PayPal Express payments. Please help me fix that, since it is polluting the referrer/source in the GA.

    Hi @outlook9394

Thank you for using Paid Memberships Pro.

We are not allowed to support premium plugins on www.remarpro.com support forums, as it goes against these support forums policy. Any questions relating to premium plugins can be directed to https://www.paidmembershipspro.com helpdesk.

    1. You are able to use Custom Level Cost Text Add On to adjust the expiration text to your needs – https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/add-ons/pmpro-custom-level-cost-text/

    2. Where is this expiration text showing? You may add a feature request on Paid Memberships Pro Github repository here – https://github.com/strangerstudios/paid-memberships-pro/issues

3,4. Please can you open a support ticket on https://www.paidmembershipspro.com for these Add Ons.

    5. The ‘token’ status means that the user did not complete checkout and may have abandoned their checkout on the PayPal checkout screen.

    6. You may follow Google Analytics documentation to exclude referrers – https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/2795830?hl=en

I hope this helps and thank you for understanding.

Thank your for responses. More below.

    1. Done.

    2. Expiration text shows next to “Cost text” on Checkout page (btw “Cost Text” should really be “Price text”!). see https://bit.ly/2lEP27q

3-4. do I need to pay to use support forum? I downloaded these add-ons from your Github.

    5. Understood, if there are no known bugs, i.e. those are real abandonments then that’s fine. How do I report them into my sales funnel or goals into Google Analytics? Can those checkout abandonment be acted on by various email marketing platform, with or without Zapier integration? This has been a challenge since there is no concept of Cart with PMPro.

    6. I am aware of GA exclusions, but that would eliminate valuable data. what I really want is to fix those referrers on-the-fly so I can populate correct Referrals for those real sales.

    HTH
