PMPro AWeber

  • Hi, where do I get the Authorization Code that goes in the General Settings tab? I was able to get the access key and secret but don’t see the authorization code anywhere.

    Also will this plugin automatically add the users to my aweber list once they register for my wordpress site without having to confirm by clicking on a link in an email?

    You should see these instructions at the top of the AWeber settings page:

    To get started, you must authorize this website to access your AWeber account. Click here to authorize this site to access your AWeber account. Then copy the "authorization code" given into the field below and click "Save Settings" to continue.

    Click on the link there. If you don’t see this, try clearing out the other settings and saving.

    I believe AWeber doesn’t allow this, however I have heard that you can contact their support to get a special exemption. So give it a try.
