Pmachine importer

  • Are there any import solutions for pmachine Pro to WP 2.3.*?
    Except of the WP 1.5 importer, which will work on WP2.3.*?

    Refers to WP1.5 and is from 2005.

    Has anybody an importer for pmachine to the correct version 2 of wordpress. The only one in google is for 1.5

    There are a few mentions of one “coming soon” on the wordpress site, but I don’t see a link to one anywhere.

    Has anyone tried the migration from pMachine pro to WP 1.5 and then updating from 1.5 to 2.3.x?

    I know this was 5 months ago, but wanted to update this again. I have over 1000 posts on my Pmachine blog. I need a way to move to WordPress. RSS isn’t an option and I don’t understand PHP or HTML. I need serious help with this and could pay someone to migrate me over. HELP!

    I tried the instructions from that old posting in 2005 and it jacked up my website. Or perhaps it is because the instructions weren’t possible to follow through Cpanel. “Fantastico” won’t let me install WP inside the Pmachine folder… so… what are we supposed to do?

    Either we’re stuck with Pmachine forever… or we manually copy and paste all the thousands of blog entries into WP… and lose all the other subscribers and their comments.

    Is Pmachine really used THAT sparingly? I guess it doesn’t pay to be an early (bloggin) adapter…
