I received this message from my host, Dreamhost when my site went down with a 502 error.

“I also noticed that whenever the
Paid Memberships pro plugin is active, our server-side cache is not
working, as this plugin forces the site to send cache-control and pragma
headers with the ‘no-cache’ instruction. The best way to deal with this
would be to reach out to the plugin’s support team to see if they can
provide a patch or explain how to fix this problem.”

Please advise. I just got started with your plugin and would like to see if it works for my company. Let me know if there is anything you can do or if there is anything I can do in my settings. Thanks.

Thank you for using Paid Memberships Pro, I’m really sorry to hear about the issue you are facing here.

The only time we set the no-cache headers is when running code to export the members list or orders to CSV. (Please see this for reference – https://github.com/strangerstudios/paid-memberships-pro/search?q=no-cache&unscoped_q=no-cache)

I am having the same issue. I am hosted on SiteGround and when I activate PMPro, it blocks their caching from working. It is repeatable. PMPro off, it caches, PMPro on, no cache.

Any solutions for this?

Thank you for bringing this to our attention @chez_bert . We’re going to test further on our SiteGround account and try replicate this.

Please confirm what version of Paid Memberships Pro and WordPress are installed when this occured?

Edit: Please also confirm if you get an error regarding the caching, or how it can be identified that caching no longer works when our plugin is active?

When I posted it was PMPRO 2.3.4. I have updated to 2.4 and still same issue. No error message but if you test it with the SG Optimizer plugin test for cached pages, it fails and it you check the http headers you will see they are no cache.
