Plyr overlay causing issue with Vimeo
-
Greetings,
We have a Vimeo Pro subscription and use an “End Screen” to display a Donate button that people can click on to open our donations page. However, Sermon Manager has a player control overlay that is interfering.
For example, if you go to the very end of the video below then you’ll see the “>” Play button covering up the Donate button and keeping it from being clicked:

We know this works because the Donate button is clickable when using regular embedding code, and Vimeo Support has confirmed that everything is working on their end. We’ve tried selecting other players in the Sermon Manager settings but only Plyr works with our website.
Given that this Vimeo feature can increase donations, there needs to be a setting in Sermon Manager to enable/disable the “>” player controls overlay when the end of a video has been reached.
In the meantime, is there a way to disable the video control overlay in Plyr using CSS?
Regards,
Chris
