    Hi,

Thanks for the plugin, it’s great!

However, whenever I have some updates (plugins etc) they fail to install (or at least WordPress fails to recognise they have been updated) when W3 Total cache is active? If I disable it and then update all, everything is fine.

I do have the recommended settings enabled (do not cache logged in users, and database not cached for admin/users etc.

Any ideas? It is OK to have to disable this plugin in order to perform routine updates, but it is also a bit of a drag.

    Thanks again, Andrew

    Hi,

This is still a problem for me, I have to de-activate W3 total Cache before I update any plugins otherwise, they appear to update correctly but then there is always a message saying that I have an old version that needs to be updated.

In otherwords, W3 Cache seems to be caching the older versions of the plugin or at least making WordPress think that they are older versions…

Perhaps its just me with this bug as I see nobody else with the same issue?

I’ve never heard of this issue in years of supporting the product, can you email us so we can get access and investigate please?

    OK,

If anybody else should come across this problem, I solved it by deselecting Object Cache.

The very helpful team at W3 Edge are not sure just yet why this might cause the issue.
