• I have been working with WordPress for some time, but am confounded by this simple issue that has arisen on one of my installations.

When adding a new plugin using the automatic install feature, the system is downloading the plugin to the /wp-content/.. directory and not /wp-content/plugins/..

The plugin is not extracting, thus I’m not able to see it and activate it.

    Anyone having this issue?

One more thing…I checked the notification and it says it’s downloaded the plugin. Then I check the plugin on the FTP and it says only 0 kb downloaded. So, it’s not even downloading correctly.
