Plugins Up to Date but Reminder always Displayed

  • Hi,

    For some time now, when viewing the dashboard there is a permanent 1 in a red circle displayed next to “plugins” and “updates”. However when I go to “plugins” the reminder disappears as it does when I go to “updates” and in “updates” WordPress actually states that all plugins and themes are up to date and I am running the latest version of WordPress.

    Not a major problem but I’m concerned it might be a sign of some problem with my setup.

    is this the problem with just one particular plugin or ALL plugins?

    If its just one plugin, which one? Downloaded from?
