• Hi support,
I have been using White Label on a couple of client websites for custom branding successfully. A few days ago I got a call from a client asking me to add a second user to as an editor. After performing the task, he later called to request I change the privilege to admin and delete the other account.

Something happened, I mistakenly deleted the account with privilege as admin and after I added the new admin, all the plugin and themes settings disappeared.

Now, I need to add a few plugins to do more work, I need help from anyone on here.

    Thank you so much somebody

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @talkinbytes14 ,

    Thanks for contacting us.

If you have an admin account, you can still access the white label cms directly using the URL. We don’t modify the user role permissions, we just hide the menu items.

So if you append this to your domain:

    /wp-admin/options-general.php?page=wlcms-plugin.php

It will give you access to the White Label CMS settings. (assuming the paths are the same).

This should allow you to get back up and running.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks

    Thanks for your quick response.
After adding the links” https://frigorificosunidossa.com/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=wlcms-plugin.php”, I get an error message which says

“Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”

How can I go around this error.

    Thank you

    Hi,

That is very strange. Are you sure he has set you up as an admin.

Check you can access this page:

    /wp-admin/plugins.php

You should be able to do that if you are an admin.

Please let me know if can or can’t access that.

    Thanks

Of course I can access the page. But like I said, each time I try to append the previous link to my domain, it ends in an error message. Please I really need help as this is a customer’s website. I have a lot of pressure from him. Thank you

    Hi @talkinbytes14 ,

Thanks for getting back to us.

It does not make any sense that you can access the plugins page, but can’t access the white label cms settings.

The fasted way to resolve this, I think would be to delete the White Label CMS plugin from the plugins page, and just re-install it.

Not a great answer, but probably the fastest if you are getting pressure to resolve this.

    Thanks

    Thanks for your feedback,

Like I earlier said, I cannot access the plugins page. Deleting from it is not an option for me.

    Hi @talkinbytes14 ,

I am sorry, I misunderstood what you said, please accept my apologies for this.

If you can’t access the plugins page, you won’t be able to access the White Label CMS settings. Even if you had FTP access to delete it, you would not be able to re-activate the plugin without admin access (I am sure you know all this).

You might need to take a look at the WordPress DB if you have access to it, to find out which users are set up as admins, as it is pretty clear the account you are using is not an admin.

I hope you can sort it out.
