Plugins Not Working

  • None of my WordPress plugins seem to be working all of a sudden. When I use the featured image plugin to upload an image nothing happens and, when I enter items into my SEO by Yoast plugin, everything I entered goes away when I publish the post.

    Does any idea what could be happening here? Do I need to update to 4.0?

    – Check the error logs on your server for a more specific error message. If you need help locating them, ask your hosting provider to help you with that.

    I’m not really that tech savvy — any of these sound like it could be causing the problem?

    is this your local server?
    Or, is your site hosted on a remote server? yes? Have you discussed this with your hosting provider?

    It’s a remote server. I have discussed it with our provider and they are performing a scan of our site to see if there is a virus. In the mean time I’m trying to cover all of my bases because I’m not convinced it is a virus.

    Have you tried turning the plugins off one by one to see if it’s being caused by one of the plugins? You can also try changing the theme to see if it is a conflict with the theme.

    I have not tried that but I will give it a shot.
