Plugins not showing up? (Godaddy)

    I have uploaded a few plugins to my site:

    (using Godaddy as my host) but they do not appear in my control panel. Themes work fine though.

    From researching I have a suspicion that I need to ask Godaddy to do soemthing (like give me some kind of permission).

    So, has anyone else been using Godaddy as a host and been able to use plugins? And if not, what did you do to get them to appear and be used?

    Have you installed the plugins properly by carefully following the instructions given by the plugins’ developer(s)?

    Yes, I’ve tried a couple, some more complex ones and then some easier ones which required little more than plunking them into the plugins folder. But I can’t see anything in the control panel.

    I figured if my themes worked then the plugins would too. Anyone have an idea how I should address Godaddy with this situation?
