• I updated a few of my sites to wordpress 3.4 and chose not to update the rest after my plugins would just not appear in my wp-admin of my website. I have tried reinstalling wordpress manually and through my wp-admin but nothing seems to work. I can see my plugins when I look through ftp in he wp-content/plugins folder but the refuse to show up in my admin panel no matter what I do PLEASE HELP have been taking big lost since my sites have been down.

  • Have you checked the permissions on your wp-contents and plugins directories? Make sure they are readable by the server.

    currently they are set to 755

    I also get this message in some of my websites when I click on the plugins tab

    The plugin buddypress/bp-loader.php has been deactivated due to an error: Plugin file does not exist.

    The plugin bulletproof-security/bulletproof-security.php has been deactivated due to an error: The plugin does not have a valid header.

    This update of wordpress 3.4 has wrecked every last website I have
