Plugins not appearing on Widget list

I’ve been having continual problems with the Twitter Feed plugin on a site I’m running. It never posts the current feed. I have to continually login to WordPress, go into the Twitter Feed settings and hit “update.” It will show it then and only then, but as soon as a new tweet comes up it does not show the new feed.

Frustrated by it, I went into widgets to toy with it as well as the Events Calendar plugin we’re using. Suddenly the Widget page no longer show any of the plug ins we’re using. I would have just pulled and placed the widgets again into the sidebar, but suddenly they’re all gone and not available for choosing or moving. Nothing I seem to do causes them to be visible. I’ve even uninstalled the plugins and reinstalled them. Nothing.

Using the latest version of WordPress with the RedBel 1.0 Theme.

Now Twitter Feed on the sidebar just displays the “broken image” icon and nothing else.

Any suggestions?
