    Love your theme – thank you!

    Determined to get it up and running, so am following your instructions perfectly. But I might be missing something here.

    I’ve created the Home & Blog pages (as in the first video), then moved on to downloading settings from your site, then demo data, then Sydney Portfolio plugin, but each time I try upload/import these things, I get a ‘page not found’ message. So I can’t get anything started ?? Do you perhaps know why this is?

  • Can’t really say, if you’ve followed the videos then it should work without issues. Try with a different browser.

    I tried Firefox. As I normally use Chrome. Same thing happened. So I re-installed WordPress (incase this had anything to do with it?) and the same thing is happening. Weird.

    But I really just need the initial settings file please.

    I notice a message alert in the “Types” plugin that states: “Security improvement – This version of Types has improved security when importing Types settings. Types settings that were saved with the older version of Types may not import all the data. You should export new Types settings if needed.”

    So perhaps I need a NEW export of the settings?

    No, that message is in Types even before we developed Sydney. So we exported with a much newer version then the one that introduced the security improvements. If you can, send me an admin account to vlad[at]athemes.com and I’ll try to import it.

    Not really sure what you did, but I imported the settings without issues. I also uploaded and activated the portfolio plugin.
    Not sure if you wanted the demo content so I didn’t import it.

    I am having exactly the same problem! What is the cause of this and how can I fix it? On a really tight schedule with a client (as usual) and I’m in over my head with all this wordpress stuff!

    Any help would be appreciated. Also, perhaps you should consider putting a fix in the documentation if it is a recurring problem. Thanks.
