• I copied the files and the database to my test server, and updated wp_options, replacing the url of the live site by the one of the test site.
When I try to access the test site I get a long list of errors:

Warning: include_once() [function.include]: Failed opening ‘core/fields/tab.php’ for inclusion (include_path=’.:/opt/alt/php53/usr/share/pear:/opt/alt/php53/usr/share/php’) in /xxx/yyy/plugins/zzz/xxx.php on line XX

The site loads if I move the plugins out of the plugins folder.
The files are all there (in the plugins folder)…
Any idea why this is happening and how to fix this issue?
    Thanks!

  • If you can access to the dashboard,

Disable all the plugins and then enable them one by one to find which one is causing the problem.

Hi Edwin, thanks for your reply! I did that and 2 plugins are causing the issue. But I’m trying to find a solution for the future as I am doing this operation quite often and it’s annoying to have to delete the plugins and reinstall them…

I migrate sites very often for my clients so I understand.

If you figured out what plugins trigger the errors, you might want to post another thread on the specific forum for each plugin, so the authors can help you find the best way to go.

    Cheers
