• I’m using WP 2.0 RC3 but I’m not sure if it goes in that category since it’s mostly a plugin problem. I went and installed Ryan Duff’s wp-contactform plugina dn it worked for a while.

Then I went to edit the CSS and all of a sudden, WordPress stopped noticing the plugins that were inside a subfolder in my plugins category.

Like the akismet plugin is under wp-content/plugins/akismet/ but it doesn’t work. Not only does it not work, it doesn’t show up in the plugin screen either. I can’t edit it using the WP plugin editor because it won’t show up there.

I don’t know if there is anything I can do, but there doesn’t seem to be any options for this and I don’t know why it suddenly happened when I’ve been using WP 2.0 RC3 for a while. During that time, I’ve installed other plugins that go under a subfolder, and they’ve worked fine.

Also, deleting the wp-contactform plugin doesn’t help things, so I don’t think it’s the plugin itself.

nevermind, I deleted them and reinstalled them, re-activated them, and now they work. I just don’t know why it hiccuped like that in the first place.
