Plugins deactivating, pages disappearing

Has anyone had a similar problem? I signed into my blog yesterday having made no changes in a week or so, and all of my plug-ins were deactivated. Upon reactivating all of them, I realized that all of my pages had also disappeared. After looking at the database, I noticed they’re still there—they just display as posts.

Any thoughts on how this might occur and how I can prevent it?
