• 1. I’m on a dedicated hosting solution

    2. I have 20 sites that were all working fine until I asked my host to upgrade my PHP from 5x to 7x.

    3. Now on all 20 sites, the plugins dashboard is hiding all active plugins.

    4. The plugins are still active and working, but I can’t disable them, uninstall them, or edit them.

Many thanks for your help in figuring this out!

    – what happens if you switch to the unedited default Theme (Twenty Sixteen.)?

    – what happens if you deactivate ALL (yes all) plugins temporarily?

Okay, I installed a fresh WordPress install, and one by one installed the plugins that are common on all 20 sites that have the issue.

    PROBLEM SOLVED

Problem is caused by a conflict with PHP 7 by the following plugin:

WP Editor (Version 1.2.6.3) by Benjamin Rojas

NOTE: Disabling the plugin fully resolves this issue. I will reach out to the author to let them know. Once they update the plugin to be compatible I will update this thread.
