Plugins creates a blank square image for social icons

I have installed this plugin and after activating the plugin the social icons on the header and footer section of my sites are displaying a square black image when we bring the cursor over them. When the plugin is deactivated the social icon shows the respective links when the cursor is brought towards them. Please suggest to me what I need to do to keep using the plugin without creating the above-mentioned issue.
