• I made the enormous mistake of changing the wp prefix in my database yesterday. Something I’ll never do again, owing to all the problems it caused my blog. Anyway, I finally got the blog functioning properly again after restoring the database and adding a new admin (me). The only problem remaining is that the plugins and widgets entries in the dashboard menus are missing. The plugins and the widgets themselves are still working and will appear in the dashboard if I type in their urls (although the “add new” option is missing from the plugins page). How do I restore their dashboard menu links?

    Many thanks.

Just so we don’t cover old ground, these are the things I’ve done thus far to correct this issue (without success):

    — Deactivated plugins

    — Re-uploaded the wp-admin folder

    — Installed a different theme

    — Checked file permissions

    — Renamed the plugin folder

I’m using version 3.02, by the way.
