Hi all, it’s been a while since I made any change to my site. When I reopened it recently, I found that all the plug-ins I previously installed are gone. I tried to reinstall them in the shop, but there’s always this error message says ‘Installation failed: Could not create directory.‘ I cannot figure out why. Hope someone can help me with it.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

That error means the plugins are already there. If you look at your site via FTP or in the hosting control panel, do you see them in wp-content/plugins?

What do you see on the PLUGINS page on the dashboard?

It could also be a file permissions related issue. Check in Site Health page in WP Dashboard if you get any suggestions regarding file permissions.

You might want to check if wp-content/plugins is set to 755.

You can read more about file permissions here

    Hope this helps!

@sterndata so I did try to access my files through FTP, even though the login info is correct, it cannot connect to the server
About my plugin page in the dashboard, it’s just empty, no plugins available

You can’t connect via FTP? Contact your host.
