[Plugin_ Portfolio Slideshow] Can we have different image sizes on each page?

  • Hi:

    Just wondering whether anyone has been able to designate different pic sizes for the pages. I tried to adjust the homepage size, using CSS, but that does not appear to work. I wanted to have a smaller slide show on the homepage but use a larger version on the other pages, and right now I know it is taking global settings from WP Media or what you enter in the slideshow settings page.

    I think you might be able to do that with CSS, but it probably depends on your theme.

    I am planning to enable shortcode settings in the next version so that you will be able to specify the size on a per-slideshow basis. I have just started working on that function and it will take a little while. Check back in a week or two and I’ll see what I can do.

    So far the options for the shortcode I am planning are:

    autoplay (on/off, speed)
    transition
    transition speed
    navigation (top, bottom)
    image source size

    Can you think of any others?

    Please add “exlude=ID”

    Still working on it. Exclude is a good one.

    If you update to the latest version of the plugin, you will notice that it now supports the “size” attribute. So you can load the slideshow like this:

    [portfolio_slideshow size=”medium”]

    I will be adding some additional options in future versions of the plugin.
