  • Not sure you mean here Chris…
I’m also interested in whether the data could be searchable as it is in the new Zotero word versions. That way getting the shortcode would just be a matter of selecting from whatever articles appear when you search. This is a particular issue for me as I have lots of embedded collections (many of which have the same names, e.g. “method”, etc.).

Also, I wonder if the “copy this” under the “key lookup” could be the whole syntax, so: “Copy this: [zotpressInText item=”xyz”] or whatever.

The Bibliplug plugin does something similar to ZotPress (although I couldn’t get it working!), but I think they’re importing the whole library (every item), and they do allow a search (although that means the item numbers are a) different, and b) ironically not obvious!).

Anyway great plugin ?? I hope it lasts!

Still alive … progress has been exceptionally slow due to technical snags and life intercepting — I apologize for the delays!

Yes, I’m implementing a search bar feature for the next version. If you mean having citations show up in WordPress search results … I’m sure it’s possible but it’s not currently planned.

Hey Katie, that’s great news:-), I mean the former not the latter (although I can imagine that being cool too). Any timescale on the next version? Really appreciate the work ??

I’m hoping to release a new version in December. Working as fast as I can. ??
