[Plugin: Zanmantou Web Audio/Video Player] audio player no longer works

My knee-jerk reaction is to first ask the overly-obvious:

Have you confirmed that Zanmantou3.swf is still actually, physically present in the path where it has always been? Is it where is should be?

I did look, and it’s not there. The plugin used to work fine and I didn’t remove any files.
Anyway, I just posted this to inform the developer and others, and have already found another way to embed audio. (I’m already using FLV player, and it will handle mp3 files very nicely.)

If I were you, I would be wondering how that file got removed, if you didn’t do it.

If you update the plugin from a previous version (< 1.2.3.0.3), the wordpress update function will automatically (i dont know why..) remove the Zanmantou3.swf and the themes directory, because they are not longer present in SVN/generated plugin-package (sorry for that…it’s a license issue..) – please use the 1-click-update function on the plugin configuration page to download the player package (Zanamntou3.swf, themes, ..) automatically from the official Zanmantou download page or upload the unziped package manually

the 3.0.3 zanmantou player package was also broken (i’ve provided a wrong set of the ImagePath/MediaPath parameter in the theme configuration of the Zanmantou Player Package, whereby the player was trying to access the demo media path on a3non.org and therefore could not play any of your files. )

you have to update the plugin AND the player package to the latest versions (1.2.3.0.4, 3.0.4) and everything will work finde again
