[Plugin: Yet Another Related Posts Plugin] YARPP Plugin

Just curious – I would like this plugin to display a list of related articles drawn only from one particular custom post type when displaying the single-custom.php template. But, for the regular blog… I want the plugin to display the best of everything on the site (as it normally would.)
How do I call related_posts() and tell it which template that I want it to use?
