[Plugin: Yet Another Related Posts Plugin] yarpp and tag

Hi,
I need to show only excerpt for related post ending by <!–more–> tag, but its not working. My code for showing excerpt in yarpp-template-example.php is <?php if ( $woo_options['woo_post_content'] == "content" ) the_content(__('Read More...', 'woothemes')); else the_excerpt(); ?>

Can I somehow edit the code to get it work? Thanks
