[Plugin: Yet Another Related Posts Plugin] YARPP admin inaccessable with Disqus plugin enabled.

  • Just installed YARPP for the first time (after frustration with LinkWithin’s lack of placement control, note: there is none, it’s built into externally hosted script).

    Funny thing, I have to disable Discuss comments system in order to access YARPP’s admin page. If i don’t it hangs connecting to Disqus. The admin page flashes for a second, then it goes white while trying to connect to Disqus. …Disabling Disqus temporarily seems to be a work around.

  • I have the exact same issue. I have cleared my cache and and optimized and repaired tables no luck visiting my YARP admins panel.

    Me too and I have 3 blogs. It works in one environment but not the other 2.

    From the FAQ:

    The DISQUS plugin loads some JavaScript voodoo which is interacting in weird ways with the AJAX in YARPP’s options page. You can fix this by going to the DISQUS plugin advanced settings and turning on the “Check this if you have a problem with comment counts not showing on permalinks” option.
