  • I’m having the same problem. I also don’t see an option to choose what parameters (categories, tags, titles) are used to display related posts – I saw that feature mentioned somewhere.

Just figured this one out myself today. ??

To modify the threshold parameters, go the YARRP settings page and then click “screen options” in the upper right-hand corner of the page. Check the box to show “relatedness options” and this will display the options tab for whether YARRP should consider tags, categories, etc.

talkstory, you’re an angel. I would never have thought to look at the Screen Options. It’s a bit unintuitive that it’s set up that way. Maybe there should be a notification on the Settings page telling users there are more options hiding somewhere.

    Thanks so much!

    Happy to help!

Thanks for this post – very bad design in my view – took a while to figure out.

Glad you were able to find that. The “screen options” are a standard WordPress feature for putting advanced features which are not normally required. The goal is simplicity. ??
