One other question – orders appear to be recorded as: PPPPP-RRRRR-RRRRR
(where P is somewhat permanent number, and R appears to be random). Any reason why orders are not sequential?

Also – would it be possible to make it so we can update the customer from the order’s page with information on their tracking, shipping and other order status action/info?

There’s a setting in the basic options to switch back to a sequence if you want to.

You can update the order log from the orders page. There’s an input box where you can enter free text.
