[Plugin: XML Sitemaps] Overwrites existing .htaccess file breaking php5.0 settings

  • I have a modified .htaccess file that forces the server to use PHP 5.0.

    This plugin overwrote rather than appended to the .htaccess file effectively breaking my site.

    Needs to be changed so it either warns you what will happen or even better updates rather than overwrites the file.
