[Plugin: Wysija Newsletters] add labels inside form input fields

  • Hi there,

    When creating the subscription form from WordPress’ widget area, you can select the option : Display labels in inputs .

    This will do it automatically for you.
    Unfortunately it will only work straight out of the box when you have more than just the email address to collect.

    Otherwise you could manage that with a custom javascript since all of our fields have different identifiers and classes. So ti should be rather simple to customize it.

    Ok that is weird – I did try that before I posted and it wasn’t working!! I just tried it again now and it is working!!

    I thought that’s what the settings did it just wasn’t working for whatever reason yesterday!

    Do you have a tutorial on how to add the label to the “email” field using Javascript?

    I don’t really know any Javascript. I can’t believe it’s not an option to display the label inside the field when only collecting emails.

    Elle, this is coming in our next release due this month.

    How can i add additional fields to the widget? Like Company field?
