[Plugin: Wysija Newsletters] Problem with Advanced Custom Fields

    Hi there,

    my problem is that i use Advanced Custom Fields but Buttons of tinyMCE Editor in Wysija Newsletters disappear.

    Wysija FAQ says the problem is that “Advanced Custom Fields plugin” do not use jquery the “right way”.

    You say: “Most of these issues are related to a plugin’s javascript being loaded in every page. They should only be on the pages where they are needed.”

    But how to prevent?

  • Hi Domputer.de,

    Actually since version 1.1 we have included a new class dedicated to conflicts resolution. So that even if a plugin is not including its own scripts correctly and may cause hell in wysija. Wysija will work.
    When a plugin is widely used like ACF we include a patch for it.
    We did the one for ACF very recently for one client and it is not yet included in our package as we don’t want to create another version too early.
    Though I can provide you a link to that patched package.
