[Plugin: Wysija Newsletters] notification email after confirming subscribtion

    Hi there,

    I would like to customize the notification email after someone has confirmed its subscription to my newsletter.

    It currently reads:

    Hallo,

    De abonnee <[email protected]> heeft zich aangemeld voor de lijst “Mailinglistgoeshere”.

    Groeten,

    Wysija plugin

    I already tried editing* the language files, but no luck there.
    When I edit and save the lines in “wysija-newsletters-nl_NL.po”

    I get no change…

    And when I edit* and change the “wysija-newsletters-nl_NL.mo” file.. it breaks and the plugin falls back to the default English language ??

    Any advice? I really find this plugin TERRIFIC, just perfectioning the final little bit, would mean a lot to me.

    * = the only way i can open the .mo and .po language files is Windows Notepad, maybe thats the issue?

  • Hi Ramzii,

    Actually to change the text of that email you were on the right lead, changing the po file is one first step. But then based on that change you need to generate a new mo file. Which is the one interpreted later on in wysija.

    Thanks so much for that answer! I always had the feeling I was missing something in that whole translating scene, Poedit is that something!
