[Plugin: WYSIJA MailPoet] Problems with external mail server

  • Hi,
    I have my web site hosted with Dreamhost and server mail (mail.mydomain.com) in other hoster (with Dedicated Server).

    If I try to use the external mail server (mail.mydomain.com) mailing delivery become more more slowly…. about 1 minute to send 1 mail! ??
    In addition to this if I try to send “email test” from MailPoet, web page show me error message: “Request error not Json”.

    Email test arrive to destination but system load for 1 minute…
    Also if I try to send a newsletter the waiting times are very long.

    I tried to test external mail server from my pc and working good; I tried also to contact Dreamhost support but they told me that server it is ok.

    What could be the problem?

    I can try to add a Reverse DNS on my Dreamhost hosting… but I don’t know if I will solve problem… :'(
