• Hi Lora,
I am building my site at the moment. howtobooks.co.za but there is no content yet I am still installing plugins etc.

I do want to do Amazon affiliate links to books etc on the site and your plugin looks perfect for this.

My question is, does the new Google Penguin algorithm implementation look at the links created with WPzon and rate the site down the search engine ranks?
I would appreciate your comments on this, thanks.

    Regards,
    Janek

Links are clean, nofollow….i don’t see why there should be a problem

Google penalizes poor quality affiliate sites that don’t offer any value to the reader (i.e. stuffed with affiliate links).

If you can provide original, useful content (reviews, how tos, lists etc.) everything should be fine.
    Target niche audiences.
For example if you want promote marketing books by Philip Kotler you could offer a short informative author bio and write about his popular theories, you could also make a list with some of the top lessons from him or review one of his books and present the rest as related etc.
But never make sites only for affiliate products.
Readers and quality, useful content should always be a priority!

Great, thanks for the reply ??

I do intend to review and do original text about the titles. As well as give some good (I hope, advice). So it should be fine on that score.

I will keep in touch and let you know.

Thanks again for the work on the plugin.

    Regards,
    Janek
