The two recent updates have caused WPTouch to no longer function on two sites that I was using it on. The plugin is active, but the site renders as a normal webpage on phones that it previously showed up on in WPTouch mode.

Some kind of push to get people off the free version perhaps?

You know, I have to say that that kind of comment is just dirty.

We *love* ALL WPtouch users, paid or free. We haven’t based our livelihoods off the product, and would rather have happy users, no matter what version they’re using.

To suggest otherwise just really bothers me, especially after giving 1000’s of hours to the project.

The only things changed in the last couple updates were big fixes and updates to address depreciations in WordPress code. If anything, it should work better : )

Have you tried deleting and re-installing the plugin? A few people have had problems with plugins in general auto-updating lately, not just WPtouch.

What I find dirty is how every link related to WPTouch now points directly to the “Pro” version and makes it very hard to find the free version. I understand needing to make money, but give people an equal opportunity to obtain the free product and THEN if they NEED the features of the Pro version, give them the chance to upgrade.

The free version is always available right here, on www.remarpro.com.

We want people to know about the Pro version, not because we don’t want them using the free version, but, after 1.2 million downloads, we want them to know there’s a pro version and what it’s all about.

I don’t see how it’s any more difficult to obtain the free version than the paid version.

The first two results from google for me are: our site for the pro version, and the www.remarpro.com repository for the free version.

Regardless, enjoy WPtouch. It’s free, and will always be free. And soon we’ll be handing down some of the great additions in the Pro version to the free version, courtesy the paying customers that have helped us advance the product.

All we hoped was that people who wanted more out of the product would recognize the time and dedication that went into it and would be willing to support us in the work, financially.

I bought WPtouch Pro the download instructions say:

To download your copy please login to https://www.bravenewcode.com/support/ and click the download link in the WPtouch Download Center, located in the sidebar.

    But, where is link sidebar!!!!!!!!
