• Hi,

I’ve just started having a problem with WPTouch fairly recently and I’m not sure why. Because it’s only recently started occurring I thought it may have been an issue with another plugin, but I’ve disabled them one by one and the problem still happens.

Basically there seems to be a problem with Javascript on the plugin. When on the mobile theme, clicking on the button to switch to the desktop theme doesn’t work (doesn’t seem to register the button press), and clicking on the menu drop down button or search icon also doesn’t generate a response.

I’ve turned on the debug console on my iPhone and it seems to suggest a javascript problem (error on line 2). I’ve updated to the latest version and even deleted and reinstalled the plugin with no success. Any ideas?

    Thanks.

A further update, I’ve also reinstalled WordPress but again no luck. But strangely if I use another browser (Skyfire instead of Safari) it seems to work fine. Very very strange.

    Hi Gamedot,

It sounds like there is a cache issue. If you’re running a cache plugin please add the list of WPtouch’s mobile user agents to the ‘rejected user agents’ area of the cache plugin.

You can find the list in the WPtouch admin panel.
