• In the footer, right above “powered by WPTouch,” the plugin displays a copyright notice. Something like: “All Content Copyright ‘Blog Title’.” I’d like to remove this and/or replace it with a Creative Commons or Public Domain license. How can I do this? I’ll settle for a hack for now.

My feature request would be to add an option in the settings gui to remove and/or modify the copyright notice, including replacing it with a Creative Commons or public domain license.

There probably is a better way to edit that footer, but that info is located in wp-content/plugins/wptouch/themes/default/footer.php starting on line 9.

Keep in mind that when the plugin is updated, you’ll lose that editing when you install the new version.

Thanks. I can’t figure out how to edit the file. It doesn’t show up in the WordPress Plugin editor and when I access ftp and try to edit it I get operation not permitted/permission denied failure warnings. I’ve tried changing the file permissions but same thing.

    We’ll add this in 1.9.14

    Glad to hear it. Thanks.

I was able to get the guy who hosts our site to change the directory permissions so that I could edit the footer.php file, but a gui option will be much easier and more convenient.

    Added in 1.9.14, released today.

Thank you very much! I like it – easy to use and flexible. Your responsiveness and the quick implementation are impressive.
