We actually arent using any caching plugins, is there another reason why this could be happening? It is happening quite frequently now and i need to get to the root of the issue.

    Thanks for any help.

    Resraf,

Do you happen to have the user agent switcher extension installed Chrome? If you do, make sure you haven’t switched to a mobile user agent and forgot to switch back.

    Hello!! ??

I am also interested in know what would be a direct url to see the mobile version.

I’m trying to use test website like screenfly or testiphone and they don’t load mobile version.

    What can I do?

    Thank you ??

is there a variable for the user-agent i can call with the url, so that i can redirect to my mobile subdomain?

I’d like to revive this question. I’d like to have a slimmed down version of the site to redisplay in a Facebook tab. Their width restriction is quite limiting. I’d like to display the mobile version thinking it will fit in better in Facebook’s narrow width. I can also see a use for being able to view the mobile version to confirm it’s working correctly. I don’t have a web enabled mobile device myself. I personally detest them, yet realize my site visitors may love their gadget.

    Hi,

Since WPtouch displays the mobile theme on the same URL, and we don’t append any parameters to the URL, it’s not possible to call the mobile theme that way.

    epistates,

Using a sub-domain is not supported at this time. However, if you mean that you’d like to do your own redirection/detection, you can use one of the many Javascript and PHP redirects out there.

    magneticmoon,

You won’t be able to call the mobile theme specifically in your Facebook tab. Though, if you’re looking to preview it yourself and don’t have access to a mobile device. You can user the User agent switcher in Safari after enabling the “Develop” menu in Preferences > General
