[Plugin: wpStoreCart – Ecommerce Plugin for WordPress] "Add to Cart" Confirmation

  • I just installed wpStoreCart and so far have been very happy with the ease of installation and the pleasing look of the cart pages. One thing I was wondering – when I click “Add to Cart” I was expecting to see a confirmation such as “You have added a product to your shopping cart”. And then it would also be nice if after adding to the cart links or buttons came up saying something like “check out now or continue shopping”. Is there a way to do this?

    You could do this with jQuery. Simply add an onclick handler to the .wpsc-addtocart class.

    We will be adding something like this to the official version, but it is a bit down the road, probably late 2011, or even early 2012.
