[Plugin: wpsc Support Tickets] No e-mail sent to user on ticket update

Hi, although an e-mail is sent to the user when the ticket is created, if support updates a ticket, then the update is not sent to the user.
Any ideas please?
Also, in IE 7, the new ticket message area becomes very narrow, any ideas on that too?
Many thanks for the plugin, this could potentially be perfect if I could get these two issues resolved.
