[Plugin: WPeMatico] No rights to access admin panel after activating

As soon as I activate this plugin, the WP admin panel says I have no access rights. Removing the plugin via FTP fixes the problem. I have turned all other plugins off to find a conflict – nothing helps.
Running Thesis 1.8 theme & WP 3.0.4.
Any ideas?
